| CRI&P mainline once spanned the Des Moines river with a two-track bridge. At some point in the road's history, likely upon collapse, this second side was pulled up and shuttered. The other side is still used by IAIS (as well as UP and NS) as part of the Omaha-Chicago mainline. |
